Ryan Kilner's Grandslam seals victory for Falcons

Olney, MD - Senior day at Good Counsel is always a special day for everyone. Freshman, sophomores, and juniors get a vision of the future and seniors say there farewells to those who will follow in there footsteps. For Brad Calandra,Chris Gartland,Ryan Kilner, Jeff Kennedy, Danny Angle, Mickey Dilima, Mike Vivian and Justin Bartlett Senior day was a chance to say goodbye to everyone in one last game. This is always very special for seniors as they realize this is it for them at Good Counsel. However, for senior Ryan Kilner, he had other ideas, those of the the dramatic. With time running short and the celebration ready to go and the pizza getting cold, Ryan Kilner hit a grandslam to end the game in the bottom of the 5th thus invoking the 10 run mercy rule. Ryan's first career home run will be one to remembered. A box score and game recap can be found below by clicking on FULLSTORY.
