Tim Park - Head Coach
Tim Park is entering his inaugural year as the Varsity Head Coach of the Falcons. A 2004 graduate of Good Counsel, Coach Park brings extensive experience as both player and coach. Coach Park is currently an instructor and coach with Elite Baseball. As a player at the College of William & Mary, he was one of the most prolific hitters in Tribe history. Upon graduating in 2008, he held school records for doubles in a season (26), career batting average (.405), and career slugging (.668). While at William & Mary, Coach Park was a two-time 1st Team All-CAA selection, 3rd team Collegiate Baseball All-American, a two-time 1st team All-State, and a two-time 2nd team All-East Region selection. Prior to William & Mary, Coach Park also played two years at Montgomery College Germantown, where he garnered 1st Team All-American and Academic All-American honors and led the Gryphons to the Region XX Championship.
Coach Clark is a graduate of Good Counsel High School ('00) where he played both football and baseball. He continued his baseball career playing for the club team at the University of Maryland. Coach Clark currently lives in Olney, Maryland with his wife Megan (Dean '03) and their two children, Liam and Emma. He is also part of the coaching staff for football at Good Counsel.
Coach Dec graduated from Good Counsel in 1976 and was a member of the '75-'76 varsity baseball team. After graduation, Coach Dec continued his baseball career at Mount Saint Mary's University as a four year starter from 1976-1980. Coach Dec lives in Rockville with his wife Lori. They have two daughters: Tori is a 2011 graduate of Good Counsel and a December, 2014 graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, and Cara, a junior at Good Counsel and a member of the varsity tennis team. Coach Dec retired at the end of 2012 after 32 years in corporate finance.
Coach Kolar has taught and coached at Good Counsel since 1965. He currently teaches U.S. History, Latin American Studies and African Studies. He is a graduate of Georgetown University (BA) and University of Maryland with a Masters in Secondary Education. In addition to coaching GC baseball (including the '72 league champions), Coach Kolar's coaching career includes over 30 years as a member of the football coaching staff, plus coaching the track and basketball teams. Coach Kolar and his wife, Elizabeth, have 2 daughters, Kathleen and Sara, and 4 grandchildren: Brennan, Nolan, Fiona, and Patrick Alois.
